The Yarbrough National Genealogical & Historical Association Inc.
Preserving generations of Yarbrough family history, records, and research collected over many years.
It is popularly believed that many Yarbrough family lines descend from Richard Yarbrough, who immigrated to the Virginia Colony around 1642 and was buried near Old Blandford Church in Petersburg, Virginia.
Over time, early Yarbrough families migrated through the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and western regions of the United States. Today, many descendants are located throughout the Southeastern and Southwestern states.
The original Blandford volumes are preserved by the Williamson County Library in Franklin, Tennessee for future generations.
These records represent decades of research contributed by Yarbrough family historians, including Ophelia Kessler and Frances (Rea) Donohue, who traveled extensively collecting family records and historical information.
Index provides a comprehensive guide to the Blandford Series records.
